The mission of holiday renting has never been easier and more efficient, but as all great people has said you can't trust the internet, especially the E-service corner. that's why we're going to help you with some tips on how to book online with no unpleasant "surprises".
Tip 1:
Before any thing you need to know from whom you are renting whether it's a direct contract to the owner or through an agent or a broker, if so you have to make sure that individual is a licensed agent.
If the broker turns out to be not licensed, it's better to hold back otherwise you'll put yourself at risk of fraud.
Tip 2:
This might look obvious, but it's very important so let me say it out loud.
You have to be 100% sure you read the written agreement and signed it and that it sets out clearly all the rights and responsibilities of you and the property owner and you agree to all of them. ask about anything that seems unclear, a little chat with the renter can do wonders and save you from a lot of unpleasant surprises.
Tip 3:
Ask the renter about the amenities that will be available for you at the house, like sheets, towers, kitchen necessities and other basic household items, so you know what to bring with you.
Tip 4:
Before settling down on any rental, check at least 3 other websites and compare prices and if you settle down on a lodging, negotiate the price, but be nice and don't over push.
Tip 5:
Ask if there is any specific regluments and house rules, such as no pets allowed or no parties etc.. these can be a game changer for you.
